Maybe the food is good? I didn't want to stick around long enough to find out.įor those looking for a short and sweet answer: I would give a zero rating if I could. I guess kids might like the place, because they don't mind being covered in filth and surround by chaos. In fact, I wish I could go back in time and get a different gift card from my hotel so I could get my disappointing night back. I, personally, wouldn't waste another cent here. The "4D" game that was supposed to be really scary over in the corner by the bathrooms (it has a dark curtain around it so children are "shielded" from it), the freaking screen didn't work. Then another 1/3 of the games were broken but DIDN'T appear to be broken, so you scan your card and it takes the credit but the game doesn't work. (This location doesn't have any of the escape rooms or the interactive stuff that Main Event boasts about on their website.) However, I'd say a good 1/3 of the games were broken and told you they were broken. We used it on the arcade games because it was a long wait for laser tag and bowling. I had a $25 gift card from a local hotel. I'm INCREDIBLY glad I didn't actually waste a bunch of money on this place, though. (This was 4/1/23 at roughly 7:30pm at the machine to the left of the Wheel of Fortune game.) Somehow I highly doubt it based on their body language, but I'm hoping Main Event has cameras and can review the event properly. And MAYBE the two boys knew who the purse belonged to. The young employee then IMMEDIATELY gave the purse to the two teen boys. He took the purse, and the same kids trying to take the purse walked up to the counter behind me. I handed him the purse, told him it was left on a machine and two kids were trying to take it. There was a very young teen, the only one behind the counter with a growing line of customers. I immediately took it to the "Winner's Circle" (I think that's what it's called) where you redeem your tickets. He sat down on the machine next to the teens and I grabbed the purse before the boy lunged for it. It had been forgotten on a machine, and my husband saw the kid grab it, and the put it down a few times as his friend looked around and blocked him from view. I can't imagine how sticky everything feels by closing.Īnd then there was a time I desperately needed an employee because two teenagers were about to take someone's purse. (Even if you think covid is over, other germs exist too.) And we were there early in the night. Oh, and the hand sanitizer stations? Completely empty and covered with dust like they had been empty for a while and long forgotten about. Employees were vastly outnumbered by patrons, and the place was filthy because of it. And I was there on a Saturday night, so I expected some sort of sense of employee control but. Someone else said this as well, but you walk in and you are immediately overwhelmed without any sort of signage or direction. My experience here was absolutely terrible, I have to be honest.
